Peugeot 508 RXH crossover 2012 Frankfurt 2011




Crossover with 200 hp and fuel consumption 4.0 l/100 km.
French Peugeot presented in Frankfurt crossover 508 RXH, which is the third version of the model after the 508 sedan and station wagon.

As its name suggests, 508 RXH created based on a wagon version of 508 and will compete with models like the Audi Allroad and Volvo XC70.

Unlike other models, 508 RXH trust hybrid system uses electric and internal combustion engine, and offering to drive all four wheels, without mechanical connection between the front and rear.

Hybrid4 drive system consists of a turbo 2.0 HDi FAP engine located up front and drive the front axle and rear-mounted electric motor and drive the rear wheels.

The total system power is 200 hp, average consumption in mixed driving cycle is just 4.0 liters diesel per 100 km. Of CO2 emissions are 109 g / km.

AWD can be in one of four modes - Automatic, Sport, 4WD or Zero Emissions, where the drive is entirely by an electric motor.

508 RXH sales in Europe will begin in spring next year.
